More physical spell tracking ideas. Today’s is about what I call a Spell Tower. Theres all sorts of metaphor, and in world language you can use to discuss the tower of spells, and wizards famously live in them. You could even get real metaphorical about it, and tell stories about how each wizard keeps a mental tower, and let players describe a Dark Tower in a field of roses, or a spiky black tower with a giant flaming eye over it, or a lighthouse whose glow lights up the night.
Regardless, your players are building a tower at the table each morning during spell prep. For this system, they are bringing a Jenga tower.

Each spell is stored on a jenga piece. Write the name of the spell on the sides.
Spell Preperation: You know some number of spells determined by your class. You can prepare another number per day. To prepare your spells each morning, stack them following normal jenga rules. As you get more spells per day, your tower can grow taller.
To Cast a Spell: Pull it from the tower and discard it. If other spells fall off the tower too, well they are lost. Spellcasting requires a steady hand, and a focused mind. If someone bumps the table? Well same thing. Spells lost. Be the crumudgeonly wizard who needs focus and precision.
Concentration: When you ask for a concentration check, maybe the DM bangs on the table, or gives it a knock if you fail.
Putting Pieces Back: You might want to tell a player that if they cast a spell successfully, they can choose to put it back ontop. Making the tower grow taller, but more precarious. There are probably abilities to recover spells. Thats fine, but they go on top. Keep a steady hand.
