Druids have an innate connection to nature. Often times, nature simply becomes shorthand for animals, and occasionally plants. Maybe if you’re feeling bold, the weather gets lumped in. By and large though, a druid lives in a temperate forest and hangs around with furry mammals. This wasn’t always the case though, and in older editions elemental themed druids were much more common.
An Elemental Druid is one who has devoted themselves to the study, pursuit, and sometimes even worship of an elemental force. The building blocks of the natural world. The Four Elements.

A Stone Druid, serving as the eternal foundation for the world. An Air Druid, traveling around the world like the four winds themselves.
